The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in co-operation with Video Home & Electronic Centre, dealer of LG TVs in Qatar, has recalled the following LG TVs: Oled65G7, Oled77G7 and Oled77W7 (2017), as well as Oled65W9, Oled77B9, Oled77C9 and Oled77W9 2019 due to a possibility of the TV overheating, which may cause certain damage to the power board or back cover and prevent the normal operation of the TV.
The recall campaign comes within the framework of the ministry’s continuous efforts to protect consumers and ensure that dealers follow up on products defects and repairs.
The MoCI has said it will co-ordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that they carried out the necessary repairs.
