His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani and Maldives President Ibrahim Mohamed Solih held a session of official talks at the Amiri Diwan on Monday. The session discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance and develop them, especially in investment and tourism fields, in addition to discussing issues of common concern.
The session was attended by a number of ministers. From the Maldivian side, it was attended by members of the official delegation accompanying the president. The Amir hosted a luncheon banquet in honour of the Maldives president and his accompanying delegation. An official reception was held for President Solih upon his arrival at the Amiri Diwan.
