The Ministry of Defence on Saturday tweeted pictures of the arrival of a Qatar Amiri Air Force aircraft, carrying medical aid, in Equatorial Guinea. Earlier, it was reported that in implementation of the directives of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, urgent medical aid was transported to Equatorial Guinea to contribute to the relief efforts in the wake of an explosion in the city of Bata. The aid included a field hospital equipped with all supplies. An integrated logistics and medical team, as well as a search and rescue team of Lekhwiya, were also sent.
