The designated authorities have referred 524 people to the relevant prosecution for violating the precautionary and preventive measures enforced by the country to contain the spread of Covid-19. Among them, 515 people were referred to the prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory, eight persons for not installing the Ehteraz app on their mobile phones and one person for not maintaining safe physical distancing, the Ministry of Interior (MoI) said in a tweet Saturrday.
The measure is in line with the Cabinet decision, Decree Law No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases and the precautionary measures in force in the country to contain the spread of Covid-19, the MoI said.
