The Ministry of Municipality and Environment, represented by the Public Parks Department and in co-operation with Al Wakra Municipality, has held a number of tree-planting events as part of the ongoing initiative to plant 1mn trees in the country.
The events, according to an official MME press statement, saw the participation of the embassies of Iran, Argentina, Panama, Ghana and Costa Rica.
