Ooredoo recently held a virtual awards ceremony to name and celebrate its ‘Partners of the Year’ for 2020.
The virtual, held on March 3, was attended by Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad al-Thani, chief business officer at Ooredoo, along with other senior representatives of Ooredoo and business partners named as winners.
A Partner of The Year was selected for each of Ooredoo’s business platforms. Microsoft won for the ‘Data Centre & Cloud’ platform; EshailSat for ‘Mobile’ platform; Ericsson (Internet of Things), Netscout Arbor (Security), Cisco (Collaboration), and VMWare and Dell Technologies (Connectivity).
Sheikh Nasser and Mustafa Peracha, Ooredoo’s senior director Operations and Partnerships, opened proceedings with welcome messages, after which the winners of each category were announced, with a representative of each partner being invited to share a few words on their win.
