The Amir of Kuwait Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad AI-Jaber AI-Sabah on Wednesday received the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Hamad Jaber Al-Ali AI-Sabah at Bayan Palce who presented the Amir a commemorative shield Qatar presented on celebrating the opening of the Sabah AI-Ahmad Corridor.
The Defense Minister briefed His Highness the Amir on the Sabah AI-Ahmed on the corridor project, one of the major and important infrastructure projects in Qatar.  The Amir expressed great pride and appreciation towards the Qatari government and people for naming the project after the late Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. He affirmed that this gesture would deepen and solidify the strong and historic relations linking the two brotherly nations especially during the era of Qatar's Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani.
