The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI) has temporarily closed two commercial establishments after they were found to be violating the ministry’s circulars regarding the precautionary and preventive measures taken to curb the spread of Covid-19.
The two establishments are located in Al Luqta and Msheireb.
In a tweet on Monday, the MoCI said these establishments did not comply with its circulars regarding the Covid-19 precautionary and preventive measures.
They will remain closed until the current situation is duly addressed and fines are paid, it added.
The ministry has announced the temporary closure of a number of commercial and retail outlets since last month for not complying with its circulars regarding the Covid-19 precautionary and preventive measures and for failing to meet general and special requirements.
