Marriott Marquis City Center Doha has announced the recent appointment of Arno Mos as hotel manager.
Mos has a "wealth of hospitality operation and management experience of over 35 years, walked his way up through his culinary career journey holding several positions with different hotel brands in different countries", according to a press statement.
He joined Marriott Hotels as an assistant sous chef in 1998 at Marble Arch Marriott Hotel London (UK), climbing up in his career through different Marriott properties such as Amsterdam Marriott Hotel (the Netherlands), Renaissance Zurich Hotel (Switzerland) and Ghent Marriott Hotel (Belgium) where he reached up to the position of executive chef.
In March 2011, he took up the position of director of Food & Beverage at Heidelberg Marriott Hotel in Germany. Thereafter, he got promoted to the director of Operations position at Stuttgart Marriott Hotel Sindelfingen |(Germany) and previously worked in Warsaw Marriott Hotel (Poland) as the director of Operations.
"A long-established leader in hospitality, Arno Mos has been consistently recognised for his dedication to the highest standards of service, attention to detail and guest satisfaction," the statement added. "In his new role, as the hotel manager at Marriott Marquis City Center Doha, Arno Mos will manage and lead the day-to-day operational performance of the hotel's growth and development."
