Area 23 under Division F of District 116 Toastmasters Qatar completed its Annual Speech Contest 2020-21 online on the Zoom platform recently. Winners of EF Toastmasters, Malaysian Toastmasters and Doha Bank Toastmasters club contests competed in four categories - Humorous Speech, Table Topics, Evaluation, and International Speech.
The International Speech winner can reach up to the finals of World Championship Public Speaking in August 2021. The newly formed club in the Area 23, Midas Touch Advanced Club, supported the event in the conduct of the contest.
Area 23 Director Sabari Prasad in his opening remarks dwelt on the achievements and programmes since the beginning of this term and pointed out that all these were possible only because of a great team.
Dignitaries Thayalan K, Manzoor Moideen, Raghavan, and Anil Nair lauded the conduct of the event. Contest manager Shehariyas Kandy proposed a vote of thanks.
The chief judges were Safeer Azeez, Yoosaf, Anil Nair, and Vimal Raj. Contests were chaired by Sruthy Mammen, Sajeev Krishnan, Yuwanthi Costa, and Ranjith Sukumar. Dileep Nalli was the Zoom Master.

First and second place winners from each category will represent Area 23 in the TAC-F Annual Conference on March 12, 2021.
