Qatar and Spain have signed an agreement to promote development in the cultural and sports fields between the two countries, at the headquarters of the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The agreement was signed on the Qatari side by HE Minister of Culture and Sports Salah bin Ghanem bin Nasser al-Ali, and on the Spanish side it was signed by Minister for Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation of Spain Arancha Gonzalez Laya.
