Sabah Rabiah al-Kuwari, director, PR at Ooredoo, said: “We’re delighted to be hosting the Ooredoo Doha Virtual Marathon 2021, and to be offering free registration to make the event accessible to as many runners as possible. We’re all disappointed the physical event can’t go ahead this year, but we hope to see a packed leaderboard with runners making the most of the virtual event.
“Supporting activities that promote a healthy, active lifestyle is a huge priority for us at Ooredoo, especially in such challenging times where we’re all restricted in what we can do, and we consider this an excellent opportunity to get active in honour of National Sport Day. Good luck to all the runners participating.”
