The Department of Meteorology recently tweeted that there are chances of mist to fog expected at places during the night hours and early morning from Wednesday night until Friday morning, causing poor visibility below 2km and zero at times.

Weather inshore until 6 pm on Wednesday will be misty at places at first becomes moderate temperature during the daytime with some clouds and cold by night, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report.

Offshore, hazy at times with some clouds, the report added. Wind inshore will be northwesterly to northeasterly 05 to 15 knot. Offshore, it will be northwesterly 05 to 15 knot reaching to 20 knot at first.

Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet, rises to 3 feet at first, while offshore it will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 6 feet at first.
