W Doha Hotel & Residences on Saturday launched an inspiring art exhibition, titled ‘What If’, in collaboration with Qatar Museums and the US embassy in Doha.
The exhibition will run until February 28 and is curated by prominent Qatari artist Muna al-Bader. It comes in celebration of the Qatar-USA 2021 Year of Culture.
The collaborative display aims to offer a creative platform for artists to express their personal experiences and optimistic views of today’s ever-changing world.

Ambassador Greta C Holtz, charge d’affaires at the US embassy in Doha, opened the exhibition

A total of 18 artists, eight Qataris and 10 Americans based in Qatar, are displaying their art pieces at the exhibition.
A select gathering of invited people witnessed the launch of the exhibition at ART29, located on the 29th floor of W Doha. Covid-19 safety protocols were being duly observed by the organisers, participating and visitors.
More than 20 original Qatari and American pieces are featured in the exhibition.
