The latest edition of Qatar Strongest Man (QSM) was held on Friday with Christopher Oketch emerging as winner, followed by Joseph Iroo Ekadeli in second and Mohamed Dweidar in third place.
"Every year, Aspire Zone Foundation (AZF) strives to make its Qatar Strongest Man (QSM) bigger and better, with an exceptional ambiance and higher standards," AZF said in a statement Saturday.

The eight finalists went through intense challenges, including Conan’s Wheel, where contestants lifted an 180kg bar on a rotating platform, followed by sand bag lifting that varied from 90kg to 110kg, and the 120kg Giant Tyre Flipping. The competition continued with a Farmer’s Walk, which included lifting 90kg on each arm.
The last challenge was pulling a six-tonne truck.
Considering the conditions facing the world due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Aspire Zone Foundation stressed that it had taken all precautionary and preventive measures to prevent the spread of the virus by setting up checkpoints to ascertain people's Ehteraz app status, measure their body temperature and ensure compliance with the rule to wear a face mask.
The event sponsors were Jaidah Group, Sports Corner, S'hail Holding Group and Anytime Fitness.
