The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a five-hour closure (from midnight until 5am) over three nights from February 1-3 for road users from Al Rayyan heading towards Thani Bin Jassim Street. The closure, which will be implemented in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, was announced to enable the installation of traffic signs as part of the Khalifa Avenue Project. Road users coming from Al Rayyan and heading towards Thani Bin Jassim Street will be able to use the exit onto Tilted Interchange to reach their destinations. Ashghal has said it will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and urged all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure everyone's safety.
