Commercial Bank, Qatar’s first private bank, and Education City Golf Club held the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am Qualifier on Friday.
This competition is the first to be held this year, and more Pro-Am Qualifier competitions will follow on February 6, 12, and 19, as the official Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am championship will be held on March 10, 2021.
Michael Braidwood, General Manager at Education City Golf Club, said: “Through this competition, we aim to provide the golfing community a unique opportunity to play in a national golf tournament with the ultimate goal of playing alongside professionals and international golf players.”
Top three standing players will get qualified to play in the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters Pro-Am, and each won two free entries to the VIP chalet at the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters 2021.
Hussein al-Abdulla, Chief Marketing Officer at Commercial Bank, said: “Playing in Commercial Bank Pro-Am tournament with leading professional golfers is a dream for many golf enthusiasts. As we are always looking at ways to provide more playing opportunities for our customers and general public, the introduction of this new pro-am competition is another example of how we are fulfilling that pledge.”
