A significant drop in temperature is expected in the country this weekend, the Qatar Met department has said.
In a post on social media on Monday, the Met department said fresh to strong northwesterly winds will start affecting the country during the weekend.
This will cause blowing dust and a significant drop in the temperature, by 4-7C, compared to what is recorded during this period, according to the weather office. Also, the sea height will rise to more than 10ft.
Meanwhile, Tuesday's forecast says strong winds are expected in offshore areas along with high seas. The wind speed may go up to 28 knots towards the north at times, with the sea level rising to 9ft.
Inshore, it will be hazy in some places in the early hours of the day, followed by moderate daytime temperature and some clouds. It will be relatively cold by night.
The temperature is expected to range from 17C to 25C in Doha on Tuesday.
