Spring 2021 semester at QU begins with distance education

The Spring 2021 semester at Qatar University (QU) began Sunday virtually so as to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
QU Student Affairs vice-president Dr Iman Mostafawi, welcomed the new batch of students admitted in various colleges by wishing them a distinguished and stimulating university life to achieve their goals.
She emphasised that all students should strive hard from the first day of semester to acquire knowledge and personal skills and the university provides them with many development opportunities and support, whether at the academic level or extra-curricular programmes.
She added that the university continues to support its students during their educational journey by developing, enhancing and improving the quality of student services.
QU is very keen on overcoming difficulties and solving problems that some students may encounter during the beginning of the semester, such as problems while registering courses and providing services from distance education system. The service providers, academic advisors and various colleges do their best to help students during this important period of the semester.
