The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) reported on Friday 195 new confirmed cases of coronavirus (Covid-19) during the last 24 hours, of which 155 were from community and 40 from travellers returning from abroad who are subject to quarantine.
The ministry also reported one new death of a 57-year-old patient who was receiving the necessary medical attention.
The MoPH also recorded 139 recoveries from the virus during the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases that recovered in Qatar so far to 142,453.
All new cases have been introduced to isolation and are receiving necessary healthcare according to their health status.
Anyone suffering from Covid-19 symptoms should either contact 16000 helpline or go directly to one of the designated health centres to undergo the necessary checks at Muaither, Rawdat Al Khail, Umm Slal, or Al Gharafa. This is important as the earlier the disease is detected the easier it will be to receive the right treatment and recover from it.
