A team of the Health Control Development from the Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME) has visited Baladna Food Industries (BFI) at Al Khor and Al Thakira municipality.
According to a MME statement, the visit was aimed at assessing the current working of the BFI and the production of milk and juices. Also, it aimed to ensure the implementation of health practices, the safety of procedures followed during product packaging and the extent to which workers inside the factory adhere to the required health requirements and relevant standard specifications.

The team inspected the dairy receiving area that contains six tanks, pasteurisation and preparation facilities, and the rest of the production stages for fresh milk and thermal treatment. All operations were observed inside the main control room.
The team members were briefed on all steps and processes that are closely monitored to ensure production in accordance with international standards to ensure safe products. The team also examined the cheese production plant and all stages of converting milk into the cheese of various types that cover the needs of the local market.
