The Planning and Statistics Authority (PSA) has announced an extension of the data e-registration period for Qatar Census 2020 until mid-January.
In a press release Wednesday, the PSA said the move comes in view of the "continuous interest and turnout of households and individuals to complete the census data electronically".
The authority has called on the remaining households and individuals in Qatar, whether citizens or residents, to take advantage of this extension and fill in their data before mid-January via this link in order to make the process easier for them by using technology in completing the data.
The PSA has hailed the huge turnout for the census e-registration service, which reflects community awareness of the importance of this project and the role of technology in its implementation.
Further, the press release points out that providing the statistical data electronically is easy and convenient, as individuals and households can provide the required information at any time and from anywhere, and with complete confidentiality.
The PSA has allocated a toll-free number, 8000800, from 8am until 8pm to respond to public enquiries about the electronic form and how to complete it with the required data.
The Planning and Statistics Authority has called on all citizens and residents to co-operate to accomplish this national project, which bears the slogan 'A Successful Census For Sustainable Development', and to take the initiative to electronically register and provide the required correct and accurate data. The Census is one of the main pillars in setting up the five-year national development strategic plans based on Qatar National Vision 2030, the release adds.
