Karwa buses will resume charging customers from January 10 onwards, Mowasalat has informed through a notification on Karwa Bus app.
Karwa has stopped selling 24-hours limited and unlimited smartcards through drivers or merchants.
“No such cards will be sold through merchants or the bus drivers anymore. Instead, the commuters can purchase the 24-hours unlimited QR Code Ticket through the Karwa Bus app.
“The rechargeable Karwa Smartcard will still be valid and can be used as usual,” the notification said.
