Vodafone Qatar Wednesday announced the launch of its new Insteon Smart Home Starter Kit range, which includes lighting control, security, and connectivity packages.
Each Kit comes as a pre-packaged bundle with the Insteon Hub as its centrepiece, according to a statement. The hub controls the home network, giving users complete remote control over a huge family of connected devices via smartphone or tablet.
The Insteon Lighting Control Starter Kit allows residents and homeowners to wirelessly control their home lighting, turning it on and off and adjusting brightness levels from any location via their phone, besides controlling lamps, coffee machines, and anything else that plugs in.
Users are also able to create schedules and scenes for home and away and configure the Insteon Motion Sensor or Door Sensor to control lighting and motion-detecting alarm systems remotely. Plus, it acts as a range extender for fast and reliable communication.
The Insteon Security Starter Kit lets users secure their homes remotely via their smartphone using the Insteon Door/Window Sensor, a wireless magnetic contact sensor that turns any Insteon-controlled light into a door or window sensing device. When paired with the Insteon Hub, the sensor turns into a motion detector that sends instant phone alerts when triggered, enabling residents to safeguard their homes at a distance.
Also launched is the Insteon Connected Starter Kit, a remote control and monitoring system that provides customers with everything they need all in one package to get smart lighting and security features at home affordably, as well as faster communication.
