The Ministry of Municipality and Environment (MME)’s Public Gardens Department, in co-operation with the Turkish embassy in Doha, planted a number of saplings suitable for the local environment as part of the 1mn tree-planting initiative. Turkish ambassador Dr Mustafa Goksu, Public Gardens Department assistant director Mohamed Ibrahim al-Sada, and other officials were present.
