Top officials of Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) met with the director-general of the Regulatory Authority for Charitable Activities (RACA) recently to discuss several topics related to the nature and optimised mechanisms of QRCS’ work.

QRCS secretary-general Ali bin Hassan al-Hammadi received RACA director-general Ibrahim Abdullah al-Duhaimi as he commended RACA’s efforts to facilitate and consolidate the credibility and transparency of Qatar’s local and international humanitarian action.
The meeting was attended by QRCS’ CEO Eng. Ibrahim Abdullah al-Malki, Relief and International Development Division executive director Faisal Mohamed al-Emadi, Volunteering and Local Development Division executive director Muna Fadel al-Sulaiti, International Relations and International Humanitarian Law (IHL) head Dr Fawzi Oussedik, Compliance and Transparency director Mohamed Jassim al-Maslamani, and IHL co-ordinator Zahra Adnan Lafi.

In a press statement, al-Duhaimi said that RACA has a regulatory, supervisory, and supportive role for humanitarian operations as he promised to continue giving every possible form of support. He also lauded QRCS’ contributions in Qatar and beyond.
In the end of the meeting, the participants thanked each other for their mutual co-operation to serve humanity everywhere.
