Hamad International Airport (HIA) has denied the false rumours circulating about the airport being temporarily closed via a recent tweet. “We confirm that we will continue to operate as normal for all travellers,” the tweet said.
“The policies and procedures for entry into Qatar continue to be carefully managed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and it is constantly updated on the MoPH website,” the tweet added.
HIA has advised the public to refer to the accurate information from official sources only, and to disregard rumours coming from unidentified sources.
