HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani met on Tuesday with Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian government Yury Borisov, during his visit to Russia.
The meeting dealt with reviewing bilateral relations and the means to enhance cooperation in different fields, particularly in the economy and investment fields to increase bilateral trade volume. The two sides also reviewed issues of joint interest. The meeting was attended by HE Minister of Finance Ali Shareef al-Emadi.
HE Sheikh Mohamed also met with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and issues of common concern. HE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohamed bin Abdulrahman al-Thani also met Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs of the Russian Federation Leonid Slutsky. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral cooperation relations and issues of common concern.
HE Sheikh Mohamed met separately on Tuesday with Advisor to the Russian President, Deputy Chairman of the Organizing Committee-Executive Secretary of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum Anton Kobyakov; CEO of Rosneft Igor Sechin; and Chairman of the Board of Directors of VTB Bank Andrey Kostin.
During the meetings, they reviewed bilateral relations and issues of common concern. The meetings were also attended by HE Minister of Finance Ali Shareef al-Emadi.
