Qatar Development Bank (QDB) has extended the duration of receiving applications for the National Guarantee Programme until June 15, 2021, noting that it will continue to manage and supervise this programme by providing guarantees to local banks to grant loans to private sector companies affected by Covid-19 in co-operation with the Ministry of Finance and the Qatar Central Bank and all banks operating in the country.
The programme aims at providing financial assistance to cover salaries and rents for companies affected by the pandemic in the private sector.
QDB has issued a guide for this programme to cover the educational aspect of the pandemic response strategy.
Through this programme and updates, QDB aspires to continue its support to Qatari private sector and entrepreneurs in the best possible way, which will provide them with sufficient flexibility to achieve more growth, development and prosperity.
