The Omani Supreme Committee entrusted with undertaking measures to tackle developments resulting from Coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic decided to prohibit entry to and exit from Oman via all travel outlets with effect from 1 am Tuesday, December 22, 2020, for a period of one week.
The Supreme Committee, during its meeting Monday chaired by Minister of Interior Sayyid Hamoud bin Faisal al-Busaidi, exempted cargo aircrafts, ships and trucks from the decision.
The Committee will continue monitoring the epidemiological situation of the new Covid-19 virus strain and will take appropriate decisions accordingly.
