The Ministry of Municipality and Environment’s Public Gardens Department organised a tree planting event in co-operation with the Embassy of Singapore as part of the one-million tree planting initiative. Singapore ambassador Jai Sohan Singh, and Doha Municipality’s Gardens Section head Mohamed Abdullah Abass. A number of saplings suitable for the local environment were planted.
