Indian Cultural Centre ( ICC) in association with ICC Photography Club organised ICC Photography Exhibition 2020 to announce the ICC Qatar Photographer of the Year 2020.
Dr Deepak Mittal, ambassador of India, inaugurated the exhibition. Hamad al-Khulaifi, founder – Qatar Environmental Lens announced the winners in six categories - Exploring Qatar, Qatar expressions, Qatar events, Back to nature, Indo-Qatar links and Iconic structures.
A two-day exhibition, which concludes today (December 20) features the winning images and selected photographs from the 200 photographers who participated in the competition.
The winners are: Exploring Qatar – Shabeerali Madalan; Qatar Expressions - Shaji M Chandran; Qatar Events - Raymond Cheenath; Back to Nature - Nifiba Suneer; Indo-Qatar links - Shaji Hussain K; Iconic Structures - Ranoosh Ali and the ICC photographer of the year 2020 is Ranoosh Ali.
ICC president, Manikantan AP welcomed the gathering and appreciated the participation. Seenu Pillai, general secretary, ICC, was the master of ceremonies. Hasseb C M, general secretary, ICC Photography Club briefed about the ICC Photography Competition while Jaffar Khan, head of HR, Premises & Sports, ICC, proposed a vote of thanks.
