Ambassador of Serbia to Qatar Jasminko Pozderac affirmed that the bilateral relations between Serbia and Qatar have improved significantly and constantly in last few years in many different areas. 
In a statement to Qatar News Agency (QNA), the ambassador praised the answer of the Qatari authorities to the challenges that the Covid-19 has put in front all of us this year, pointing out that the results of the measures in Qatar have been very good, as the number of the new cases as well as the number of the deaths in Qatar is much lower compared with the other countries in the world the matter that indicates that Qatar has used a successful protocol to limit the spread of this pandemic. 
The ambassador of Serbia praised the regional and international role of Qatar in promoting peace, progress, humanitarian aid and cooperation between the different nations, as it has been shown during the current pandemic of the Covid-19, as Qatar has sent the aid to many countries in the world, including Serbia.  
The envoy congratulated the leadership and the people of the Qatar on the occasion of the National Day, wishing them further development and welfare.
