Muaither and Al Gharrafa health centres will resume normal services for their registered patients, following their deactivation as Covid-19 dedicated swab facilities, the Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) announced Tuesday.
While Al Gharaffa Health Center has already resumed normal services, the Muaither Health Center will return to its routine from December 20, according to a statement
Rawdat Al Khail and Umm Slal health Centers will continue as dedicated Covid-19 test and hold facilities, it was explained.
It was in March, that the PHCC, in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation, Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) and partners, designated four health centres to be test and hold facilities for all suspect cases of Covid-19.
“The PHCC has worked round-the-clock, tirelessly supporting the community and patients during these challenging times. Now, we are phasing into full operations mode to provide complete services for the people,” said Dr Samya Abdulla, executive director of Operations.
PHCC encourages everyone registered at Al Gharaffa Health Center and the Muaither Health Center to return to care and avail of full healthcare services.
