Under the slogan “We All Belong,” the Doha 2030 Bid Committee on Saturday ramped up its campaign to win the bid for the 2030 Asian Games, underlining Qatar’s stated principles of unity, peace and inclusiveness.

A high-profile Qatari delegation is in the Omani capital Muscat to promote Doha’s candidature for the prestigious continental sporting gala for the second time in history, having first hosted the event in 2006.

Muscat is hosting a series of meetings in the build-up to the Olympic Council of Asia’s (OCA) General Assembly on Wednesday when the winning bid will be announced.

Saturday, the Doha 2030 Asian Games Bid Committee's twitter handle said, "Everyone is very excited to have the final chance to explain how all of Asia will belong at Doha 2030."

The Doha 2030 Bid Committee is headed by HE Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad al-Thani, the president of the Qatar Olympic Committee.

Meanwhile OCA president HE Sheikh Ahmed al-Fahad al-Ahmed al-Sabah arrived in Muscat on Saturday to take part in the General Assembly.
