The Sealine Committee (Southern Traffic Department) carried out an awareness campaign during the Qatar National Day Falconry Championship at Sealine. According to an official press statement, the officials distributed brochures and spread awareness messages during the campaign in order to ensure safety of all.
Capt Abdul Wahid al-Anzi, Traffic Awareness Officer, thanked Al Qannas Society, which is the organisers, for inviting the department to the event.
The Ministry of Interior (MoI) has chalked out a slew of safety and security plans at Sealine. The MoI, in co-operation with relevant stakeholders, has launched a campaign to intensify measures to enhance awareness and intervention in order to protect lives and property.
All measures have been put in place by the Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) to ensure timely medical care for patients and accident victims. As part of the plan, traffic patrols have been intensified at roads leading to camping places while investigation patrols are carried out in order to monitor violations and track unregulated practices and hobbies that may result in traffic violations.
