His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani received at the Amiri Diwan on Wednesday the credentials of six new ambassadors to Qatar.
His Highness the Amir received the credentials of ambassador of Portugal Antonio Jose Alves de Carvalho, ambassador of Indonesia Ridwan Hassan, ambassador of Iran Hamid Reza Dehghani, ambassador of Haiti Jean-Marie Francois Jr Guilllaume, ambassador of North Macedonia Shaban Jashari and ambassador of the Dominican Republic Giorgis Bhasa Hazem.
His Highness the Amir welcomed the new ambassadors, wishing them success in their missions and the relations between Qatar and their respective countries further progress and prosperity.
For their part, the ambassadors conveyed to the Amir greetings of their countries' leaders and wishes of further progress and prosperity to the Qatari people.
The ambassadors were accorded earlier official reception ceremonies at the Amiri Diwan.
