Turkish ambassador Dr Mustafa Goksu has appreciated the remarkable role played by Gulf Times in raising important issues concerning Qatar, and its interest in reports on the strong bilateral relations with Turkey.
He expressed his views while visiting Gulf Times office and interacting with Editor-in-Chief Faisal Abdulhameed al-Mudahka on Monday. "Gulf Times is one of the most important newspapers we follow in Qatar," Dr Goksu said. "Gulf Times is distinguished for its strong coverage of the political, economic and sports fields, in addition to noted reports that address the elites.
"We are interested in strong and continuous communication with the local media in Qatar, headed by Gulf Times, and we welcome any steps that serve or contribute to enhance the relationship between the two countries,” the Turkish envoy added.
