The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a diversion for 10 months from December 10 within Doha Central Development and Beautification Project.
Traffic will be diverted to a parallel three lane street in each direction. The traffic signal will be cancelled at the Museum Intersection. The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to enable infrastructure improvement works on Corniche Street.
Motorists heading to Jabor Bin Mohamed Street from Sharq Intersection (Ras Bu Aboud Bridge) or Museum of Islamic Art can continue straight and make a U-turn at the next intersection to reach their destination.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
