Qatar's Mada Center is the winner of the Unesco/Amir Jaber Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah Prize for Digital Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities for 2020-2021, according to the Ministry of Transport and Communications. An international jury chose Mada Center in recognition of its excellence as a model for the sustainable application of technology for the inclusion of persons with disabilities, and in appreciation of its role in providing digital accessibility solutions in response to Covid-19, the MoTC said in a post on Twitter on Thursday.
