Shantiniketan Indian School (SIS) recently organised the Children’s Day celebration on the virtual platform Zoom.
The event to pay tribute to the first prime minister of India Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru was planned by the teachers to entertain the children.
The short event turned out to be a cultural extravaganza where a collaborative effort of teachers and parents added variety to the programme. The students witnessed an array of events that included skits, live drawing, live music and songs, dances, and a short documentary on the life of Nehru. Principal Dr Subash B Nair congratulated the parents and teachers for exhibiting their exceptional talents and asked the children to be focused and to work hard for achieving their goals.
