His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani will head on Thursday to Ankara on an official visit to Turkey.
The Amir and Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will chair the sixth meeting of the Qatar-Turkey Supreme Strategic Committee.
The sixth session will discuss ways to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two brotherly countries in various fields and exchange views on regional and international issues of joint interest, and will see the signing of a number of agreements and memorandums of understanding.
His Highness the Amir is accompanied by an official delegation.
