Doha
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a lane closure for three months from Friday (Nov 27) on part of Al Bidda Street (Majlis Al Taawon) for 600m in the direction from Wadi Al Sail Intersection to Oryx Intersection while keeping two lanes open to traffic.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to complete the works of Doha Central Development and Beautification Project – Package 4.
During the closure, one lane of the right turn from Mohammed Bin Thani Street to Al Bidda Street will be closed while keeping one lane open to traffic. The lanes turning left from Al Bidda Street to Mohammed Bin Thani Street will also allow turning left from the main carriageway.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
