Doha
The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced a partial traffic closure on the left lane of the University Street in both directions for a distance of 80m near it's intersection with Al Khafji Street as shown on the map from Thursday (November 26) for six months. During the closure, two lanes on University Street will remain open to traffic in each direction.
The closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic is to allow excavation works for the infrastructure development of the sewage network and rainwater drainage network in the area.
Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
