The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has announced year-long a minor traffic diversion on Abdulla bin Jassim Street where a distance of 200m will be closed from Hamad Al Kabeer Intersection towards Jaber bin Mohamed Street from Friday (November 27). During the closure in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic, a parallel road will be available to divert traffic, as shown on the map. The diversion is aimed at implementation of infrastructure and beautification works on Abdulla bin Jassim Street as part of the Doha Central Development and Beautification Project – Package 2. Ashghal will install road signs advising motorists of the temporary closure and has requested all to follow them and abide by the speed limit to ensure safety.
