The International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) has accredited Ali Talib al-Athbi from the Security and Facilitation Department at the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) as the first international Qatari trainer in the list of certified trainers for air transport facilities. This was informed by CAA through its social media platforms.
The achievement, according to a tweet by CAA, complements the efforts of the Authority and its keenness to represent and enhance the position of Qatar on the civil aviation industry map through permanent and effective participation in all events and initiatives held by ICAO. These are in addition to strengthening co-operation and exchange of experiences with various represented countries in the organisation.
Al-Athbi, who was sent by the CAA to study aviation management in the US, has also undergone many internal and external training courses in the field.
