The crackdown on violations of Covid-19 measures continued as the competent authorities at the Ministry of Interior (MoI) referred 111 people to the Public Prosecution for not wearing masks in places where they are mandatory.
The measures taken by the authorities come in implementation of a Cabinet decision and Decree Law No 17 of 1990 on infectious diseases, and in line with the precautionary and preventive measures put in place to curb the spread of Covid-19 in the country.
The competent authorities have called on the public to adhere to the Covid-19 precautionary and preventive measures in place to ensure their safety and the safety of others.
