Station, are partnering with QM on the Jedariart initiative. Mohamed Arqoub al-Khaldi (pictured), chairman of the committee, thanked HE Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, chairperson of Qatar Museums, for her efforts to highlight the works of artists at several locations in the country.
Al-Khaldi said Jedariart will support the artists in making their individual artistic mark at several locations, including Al Abraj Park, Al Asmakh area, Doha Festival City Interchange, Al Khor Interchange, Post Office Park, 5/6 Park, 5/6 Flyover, Qatar National Library Metro station and the Woqod petrol station in Fereej Kulaib.
Architect Abdulrahman al-Ishaq (pictured), acting director of Public Art Department at Qatar Museums, said: “Members of the community are invited to visit the dedicated locations to engage with the artists and their pieces that are contributing to our thriving cultural landscape.”
