The Public Works Authority, Ashghal, has announced a temporary closure on Salalah Street in both directions, between Oqba bin Nafie Street and the service road of Salwa Road (at Khalid bin Ahmed I/C), from 11pm tomorrow (Wednesday, November 18) to 5am on Friday (November 20), in co-ordination with the General Directorate of Traffic.
During this period, Al Furousiya Street and Salah Al Deen Street can be used as alternative roads, as shown on the map above.
The temporary closure aims to allow for excavation works for developing the infrastructure for rainwater drainage in the south of Doha.
Ashghal will install directional signs to alert road users of this traffic change.
The authority urged all commuters to abide by the speed limit and follow the road signs to ensure safety.
