Qatar participated on Friday in the 3rd Paris Peace Forum, which was inaugurated by HE President of the French Republic Emmanuel Macron with more than 60 heads of state, government, and organisation participating.
Qatar's delegation to the 3rd Paris Peace Forum was chaired by HE Ambassador of Qatar to France Sheikh Ali bin Jassim al-Thani.
The third edition focuses on the collective effort required to confront the coronavirus pandemic and how to enhance the international community's capabilities in that regard.
It also discussed the projects chosen for the 2020 edition.
Different parties involved with global governance, immediate solution to the health current crisis and the social and economic crises resulting from it, took part in preparing those projects.
Qatar is considered a partnership in the forum since its establishment.
Qatar Foundation has a partnership with the forum and participated in last year's edition with many initiatives.
In 2020, Qatar Foundation participates with the Rayyan application, in addition to other projects and discussion panels.
